Well... this was bound to happen.

Yep, the Hero’s College Kickstarter has been cancelled.

Am I disappointed? Yes.

Am I upset? Not really.

The reason that it’s cancelled is because of too many popular video game campaigns currently on Kickstarter, and some have already been funded within hours/days after launch. That means less backers who will be interested in mine.

 And lastly, I guess I was a bit too optimistic about how I was preparing for the Kickstarter from the start of August. Plus, some of my supporters told me that they’re low on funds anyway.

What’s Next?

I’m extending the Demo!

That’s right. The demo was left off on a cliff-hanger where the MC needs to choose between Hayley and Gracie’s mini festival event they need to go to.

The extended demo will split the main route into Hayley and Gracie’s routes. After their events are finished, it’s the First Date Arc! This would cover like... 35% of the main game.

I’ll start developing the chapters in November 2024.

The relaunch of the Kickstarter will be in 2025, and this time.... I won’t launch it until I reach over 200 followers on the pre-launch Kickstarter page with better promotion efforts.

Well... that’s all I need to say. If you follow me on my Twitter and here, I’ll try to do monthly updates to the new demo.
